Marisel Della Togna
Graduated from the Universidad Santa Maria La Antigua in the Republic of Panama in 1995. She earned her Master degree in Law in 1997.
In 2002, she obtained her Diploma in “Negotiations, Treaties and International Trade” in the University of Santiago de Chile. In 2003, she obtained a postgraduate degree in International Trade and in 2004, a Master degree in Negotiation, Administration and Enforcement of International Trade Treaties.
Quality advice and professional ethics
In 1997, she served as Advisor to the Minister of Economy and Finance. She was part of the Ad Hoc Investment Commission of Panama and the United States and was the Team Coordinator of the Ministry of Economy and Finance to the Inter-Agency Commission for the Coordination of the Negotiation Rounds for the Free Trade Agreement between the Panama and the United States.
In 2009, she was appointed Deputy Director of Panamanian Income Office, Ministry of Economy and Finance, which held until mid-2011. In that time, she participated in the negotiations to sign several agreements between Panama and the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), as well as, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT) for the proposed reorganization and modernization of the Panamanian Tax System. She practices Corporate Law, Tax Law and has experience in Contracts with emphasis on Public Contracting.
