DOUBLE TAXATION AND FISCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENTS
Panama has successfully negotiated and subscribed agreements to avoid the Double International Taxation, which include information exchange clauses. Of such agreements, only Barbados and México are in full effect. In addition, the Agreement subscribed between Panama and the United States for the Tax Cooperation and the Exchange of Information relating to taxes is also in effect. The Panamanian Government has issued Executive Decree No. 85 of June, 2011, which regulates all procedures regarding the Exchange of Tax Information by Panama.
